1. Customer Satisfaction and Re-Cleaning Policy

At Farthings Dry Cleaners Cambridge and Trumpington, customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not completely satisfied with the cleaning or service we have provided, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your items. We will gladly re-clean your items at no additional cost to ensure your satisfaction.

 

2. Spot and Stain Removal

While we strive to remove all spots and stains from garments, we cannot guarantee complete removal of all spots and stains. Certain stains may be permanent due to the nature of the fabric or the type of stain. We will do our best to inform you if a stain appears to be difficult or impossible to remove.

 

3. Garments Without Manufacturer's Care Labels

We understand that some garments may not have a manufacturer's care label. In such cases, we are willing to process these items with the client's consent. By agreeing to proceed, you acknowledge that Farthings Dry Cleaners will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur due to the absence of care instructions.

 

4. Liability for Damaged Items

While we handle all garments with the utmost care, Farthings Dry Cleaners Cambridge and Trumpington will not be liable for damage due to inherent weaknesses or defects in materials that are not visibly apparent prior to cleaning. This includes but is not limited to, fabric shrinkage, colour bleeding, or fading.

 

5. Lost or Damaged Items

In the rare event that an item is lost or damaged beyond repair, Farthings Dry Cleaners Cambridge and Trumpington will provide compensation based on the age and condition of the item, not exceeding ten times the cost of cleaning the garment.

 

7. Unclaimed Items

Garments left unclaimed for more than 90 days after the service has been completed will be considered abandoned. Farthings Dry Cleaners Cambridge and Trumpington reserves the right to donate or dispose of unclaimed items after this period.

 

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Farthings Dry Cleaners Cambridge and Trumpington reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be updated on our website, and it is the client's responsibility to review these terms periodically.
